Ok.. Ya'll have seen me on here for a long time, and know that I usually assist more than request assistance. But alas, I am stuck. I am likely over thinking this, and there is prolly a simpler way of doing this, but I could use some feedback.

I am trying to setup a couple different sets for my drg, so that when I am /rdm, /whm, or /blu (my soloing subs), I use different idle/engaged sets than when I am /dd. I have never used groups before and don't really get how to call them. If there is a way aside from groups to do this, let me know. If I need to use groups, then so be it, I will learn.

I am trying to use my "Hybrid" set when engaged and my "Apoc" set for idle (since it has refresh). Else when I am /dd, I use TP and Idle respectively.

my xml: http://pastebin.com/nwb3b2cw

I've tried a few ways, but none work. My current xml posted does not change sets like, at all now. (Yes, I have a backup).

Please help!

Glad you got it working. You can also use Inherit. So if you have a group that covers your most used sub. Say, /war. Then you can make all of your sets for it. Then you make 1 group with the main set that's different and inherit the other group. I use it for att, acc, eva xmls. Most stuff like ws'use the same gear so no need to repeat them.

So, it's something like:

<group name = "FullAtk">
   <set name = "idle" />
   <set name = "engaged />
   <set name = "ws" />
</group>
<group name = "Eva" inherit = "FullAtk">
   <set name = "engaged" />
</group

Personally, I don't even bother with groups, I just use the SubJob rule, something like:

<if SubJob="RDM|WHM|BLU">
	<Equip magey type set>
</if>
<Else>
	<Equip headbashing set>

(not complete code but you get the idea)
